A Day In The Life: The Beatles (radio) Biography takes each listener on a magical mystery trip
through the life and times of the world's greatest band via ONE MAN'S gift for mimicking his favorite group
of all time. The script, sound effects, voices and production are all the work of the show's creator,
Eric Howell. "This is something I feel John in particular would've quite liked" says Howell,
"given Lennon's penchant for word painting with lyrics like 'picture yourself..', 'turn off your mind...',
and of course 'Imagine'. Not to mention the entire concept of letting your mind go in 'Across The Universe'.
But they were ALL 'Goon' fans and avid radio listeners and I feel I've done their legacy proud with this one."
Unlike the films, there's no bad Beatle wigs on actors or half baked caricatures in Howell's one-man show.
"With an audio drama series of the Beatles story you're really only limited by your imagination", he says,
rubbing his hands together, "...and Beatlefans have very wild imaginations. I should know, I'm certainly one of them!"
